Your Support Saves Lives

The Franklin County Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible organization that relies on donations to keep our doors open. Every penny donated to our group is dedicated to the health and welfare of the forgotten pets of Florida’s Forgotten Coast.

Sadly, the number of homeless animals that come through our doors never seems to end. And, if you already have a pet, it’s no surprise that it can be expensive once you factor in trips to the veterinarian, food, shots, surgeries, flea/tick, and heartworm control, etc. Well, imagine those costs multiplied by dozens of times a month! That’s what we deal with on an ongoing basis.

Every Penny Counts

When you're out and about in Franklin County, you might see a donation jar for the Franklin County Humane Society at your favorite place of business. The money we collect from these jars helps fund our low-cost spay/neuter voucher program, which aims to reduce the population of unwanted pets in our area.
